UDDERWARE

INSTRUCTIONS

1. DO NOT DISCONNECT ANY SNAP HOOKS YET.
Start by laying Udderware out on a table so that you can see all components.

2. Note that the girth belt goes through the udder pad and ends with a snap hook on each end.

3. Note that there are two butt straps which attach at one end to the rear of the udder pad and terminate with a snap hook at the other end.

4. Note that the fur collar is a loop with an attached, adjustable strap.

5. Visualize how the installed Udderware will appear on your mare with five snap hooks attached to one metal ring located toward the rear of the mare's back.

6. Now detach four snap hooks from the ring leaving one of the girth ends still connected.

7. Slide collar over mare's head and rotate collar so that adjustable strap lies along mare's back.

8. Lay udder pad (with Udderware label facing up and butt straps to the rear) on mare's rump.

9. Reach under mare and hook second girth end snap hook to ring (remember that, in step 6, one girth snap hook was left attached).

10. Rotate assembly around mare so that udder pad is underneath and metal ring is on top.

11. Bring butt straps rearward between hind legs, one on each side of tail, and up over mare's rump. Snap each end to metal ring.

12. Adjust girth belt first, making sure that there is no gap between pad and mare's body; then adjust butt straps so that they are quite snug.

13. Snap strap, which comes from collar, to metal ring and adjust length so that it is taught (not sagging). It is better to have this adjustment short rather than to risk having it too loose.

14. NOTE: Our customers have had excellent results but we cannot offer a guarantee. We do however, offer ongoing communication and advice.
